Waiver: In consideration of acceptance of the entry, I hereby waive any and all claims for myself

and my heirs against the sponsors of Teal Trail 5K, the Brightside Cancer Fund, Brightside Church,

Kentwood Gravel Co., Randall Helm and each of the officers and employees of host facility, for

injury or illness which may directly or indirectly result from my participation and I further agree

to save and hold said parties harmless and agree to indemnify each of said persons against all

liability for any loss, costs, injury, or damage to persons or property which may arise by virtue

of the undersigned engaging in the event. I further state that I am in proper physical condition to

participate in this event and am participating of my own volition. NOTICE ; the Teal Trail is

an OFF ROAD course and has various natural hazards including uneven ground, rocks, grass, steep

grades, bridges and the like. Sponsors and organizers reserve the right to postpone, cancel

(without refund), or modify the event due to weather conditions or other factors beyond the control

of the sponsors and organizers which might affect the health and safety of the participants.

The 5k trail is a very unique, rugged off-road trail...consider yourself warned. You will be

running up/down hills, on grass, woodchip trails, fields, gravel, grass and will probably encounter

a few wet areas. This is not your grandma's 5K road race. The majority of the trail is located on

Brightside Church property and uses part of their current prayer trail.
